Living in New York, but originally from Taiwan, Mu Pan is a talented storyteller who transports us into his unique universe.

Child of a military family, his background influenced his work. Primarily inspired by the History of China, Mu pan transcribes allegorically and bestially his opinion about the world through disturbing animals.

His technique of combining the animalistic subject with an Eastern aesthetic, creates intricate, weird and poignant images with délicate and perfect lines.

Each artwork is a tale where the artist masterfully mixes bright oils and watercolors.

His intense images and rich themes have been already reward several times and shown in group shows and solo shows.
